Learning Project Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Learning Project Manager to join a great business on a 3-year contract, on a part time bases for 21 hours per week.

The project has a fabulous meaning in breaking down barriers and encouraging equality & diversity within the organisation, you will be personally involved in project managing the role out which will help to broaden the reach of the business.

We are looking for someone who wants to work part time for 21 hours per week with strong project management experience.

Salary: £19,200 (£32,000 FTE)
Location: Birmingham, with flexible working
Hours: 21 hours per week, over 3 - 5 days negotiable

Duties of the Learning Project Manager:
* Working with various key stakeholders you will be responsible for the successful roll out of the new web-based platform from a project management perspective which will increase engagement
* You will coordinate the creation of the web content and communications working with the web developers and systems team to ensure execution
* Responsible for producing and providing progress updates to the project group as required
* Creating & maintaining a detailed project plan, scheduling all activities, milestones, and timelines; making sure adequate resource has been allocated accordingly
* Executing the project in accordance with the plan, developing documents to monitor the projects performance and reviewing the quality of work throughout
* Supporting with the build of the new online platform, working with third parties
* Coordinating project team meetings and liaising with other key stakeholders
* Effectively managing risks and issues as they occur in the project
* Managing the content of the website, ensuring the learning content is up to date and accurate

Key skills for the Learning Project Manager:
* Experience working in an established project management environment, ideally within a complex business
* Experienced delivering projects on time to budget
* Experience of web-based projects
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
