We are currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join our team based from Head Office in London, Farringdon but working on projects in London and Home Counties, TBC.

The main role of a Project Surveyor at Willmott Dixon is to provide commercial support to senior surveying staff on one or a number of projects to ensure that projects are procured, delivered within budget and to the highest quality whilst exceeding our customers' expectations. You will be responsible for the delivery of the project to meet its financial targets. You need to demonstrate good working knowledge of contract conditions, procurement of packages, demonstrate the management of project risks and ability to foster productive relationships and can thrive in a fast paced environment.

D&B contract experience would be desirable.

We try to mitigate our business risk commercially by working in a number of diverse key sectors including; commercial, medical, government and education and we would look for either specialists or a mix of sector experience.

At the moment during the pandemic you may be split between site and homeworking to suit project/your needs.

Our office (when you need to go to it - how times have changed) is within easy reach of a number of stations: Blackfriars, Cannon Street, Farringdon, Fenchurch Street, Holborn, Liverpool Street and Waterloo and all the fantastic amenities, our customers and food destinations that part of London offers!

Essential and Desirable Criteria

• MS Excel.
• Procurement experience.
• Experience in re-measurement.
• Financial / cost control.
• Appropriate CSCS card.
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• Valid driving licence.
• A base understanding of contract law.
• Reading and accurately interpreting drawings and specifications.
