The Team:

Our Next Online Learning & Development team are on a mission to design and deliver world class learning experiences, communications & resources which enable our people to provide exceptional service for our customers.

The Role:

Working across three sites, as a Trainer for The Next Online Learning & Development team, you’ll deliver engaging learning initiatives to various audiences within the business including on-boarding induction programmes, management training and developing existing employees with adhoc learning initiatives.

You’ll work closely with our Material Developers researching, shaping and developing materials to aid the learning cycle and bring to life learning initiatives to engage and drive exceptional customer service throughout the business.

You will:

  • Use a variety of methods to enhance and ensure the learning transfer
  • Work closely within the Learning & Development Team to shape and develop the delivery and materials to promote learner engagement and ensure transfer of learning.
  • Deliver on boarding induction programmes to new starters and developing existing employees with additional learning initiatives
  • Make recommendations for training solutions that suit individual and team needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve materials and delivery of existing courses and assist in the production of new learning initiatives
  • Manage priorities effectively whilst demonstrating flexibility, often balancing conflicting demands.
  • Be expected to working a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends across three different sites which will include travel and overnight stays.

Criteria

About you:

  • Proven track record of delivering content to a variety of different audiences.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with capability to alter message delivery dependant on audience.
  • Experience in designing captivating and informative presentations and/or training courses.
  • Advanced MS word and PowerPoint/ Google applications ability.
  • Excellent coaching skills with history of career development conversations.
  • Be creative in your approach and be able to offer a varied skill set and be able to learn new skills and processes at a fast pace.
  • Be motivated, enthusiastic and flexible.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence as travel to other sites may be required.
