Workplace Skills Coach – Construction
Minimum of 15 hours per week, Permanent
Salary – up to £32,000 per annum pro-rata
Based in Rotherham and North Nottinghamshire
About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team helping to develop the next generation of construction workers / site managers. You will use your knowledge, skills and experience to create a brighter future for construction.
The position involves assessing & supporting level 4 Construction apprentices in the work-place. Updating and developing their portfolios & carrying out on-site performance reviews. Using your report writing skills, you will maintain accurate records of student progress.
You will also deliver in classrooms to HNC and HND students in Construction and the Built Environment so a teaching qualification and experience is essential.
Have you got what it takes?
In addition to a teaching qualification you should also have a;
- Assessors award
- A level 4 or higher qualification in site management
- IQA award would preferable but is not essential
In order to bring the subject to life, and provide a solid grounding for our learners to succeed you will need a background in Site Management and Building Information Mapping.
