Bakkavor Group is a leading manufacturer in the fresh foods market, specialising in developing private label products for top global grocery retailers and well known international foodservice operators.

In the UK, our customers include some of the UKs best known grocery retailers including Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Asda and Morrison's, who sell our products to consumers under their respective retail brands.

Bakkavor Central Microbiology Laboratory is based at Holbeach St Marks and carries out a range of tests on food and environmental samples. Working in our CLAS/RSA accredited laboratory, you will be required to conduct routine microbiological analysis on a range of samples from our local factories.

The ability to work on your own initiative and be a good team player is essential, as is the ability to cope with a mentally and physically demanding role.

As an ideal candidate you will have an interest or qualification in a science subject, food safety and a laboratory background is ideal, although full training will be provided.

This role is offered on a Continental 2,2,3 Shift pattern and offers genuine progression opportunities within the Bakkavor Group.
