THE COMPANY
The IFA PA provides specialist PA and Administration support to Independent Financial Advisers, Wealth Advisers and Financial Planners. The company was set up in 2017 and is a recognised and trusted provider of highly experienced and skilled Virtual PAs and Administrators, each providing the best level of support to our many clients.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
We are continually looking for experienced Financial Services Administrators to work flexible part-time hours on a self-employed basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting a number of Financial Adviser clients, all of whom will be from different organisations and will use various back-office systems. It is therefore important that the right people are able to work remotely and have the technical ability to manage multiple systems.
If you are the Financial Services Administrator that we are looking for, you will be friendly, charming, pro-active, conscientious and have the ability to build a great rapport with clients and other team members. You will have at least two years' experience of providing administration support within a Financial Advisory firm and you will have a clear understanding of the different products and processes involved. You will also have a flair and passion for upskilling and learning new systems.
Key duties for the role:
* Administration support to a number of Financial Advisers, Wealth Advisers or Financial Planners
* Provide full PA support including managing client diaries and all-round business support to busy Advisers.
* Processing of new business.
* Accurately update and maintain information on the back-office systems, ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
* Track progress of business with lenders and providers, obtaining updates when required.
* Ensure workflow is completed to set service level agreements.
* Provide exceptional levels of customer service.
Key skills and experience:
* Highly knowledgeable in all aspects of Financial Services Administration.
* A strong level of technical and industry knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products.
* Possess a keen eye for detail.
* Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage workloads.
* Ability to work remotely and with limited supervision.
* Hard working and enthusiastic.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
* Ability to work under pressure.

HOURS OF WORK AND PAYMENT
These roles are self-employed and the initial expected commitment is for 5 - 20 hours a week. Hours will increase as you are allocated more clients. Applicants will be required to work flexibly throughout Monday - Friday. Payment is GBP12 per hour, rising to GBP17 per hour after three months.
Applicants must be able to work entirely from home with their own suitable IT equipment, wifi and printing facilities
