Recruitment Assistant
Job Purpose:
To proactively co-ordinate and administer all recruitment campaigns at the Client's site.
Duties:
Proactively co-ordinate and administer recruitment campaigns ensuring a timely, fair and effective process.
Register vacancy, Log CVs and record vacancy progress.
Stakeholder management - ensure HRBP's, HRA's and Line managers are aware of and kept up to date with recruitment activity, chasing line managers for outstanding actions/feedback as required
Co-ordinate Advertisement of role including creation and issuing of Internal Vacancy notices, uploading to Client Intranet and websites and initiating external advertising (assume external advertising is delivered via colleagues within Morson)
Shortlist with recruitment manager and record outcome of shortlisting, justifications and provide feedback
Support the Recruitment Advisor in working with hiring manager to advise on, develop and deliver appropriate assessment techniques including;
Interview questions, Exercises, Aptitude Test, Assessment Centre , Psychometric testing
Arrange interviews, including identifying interview dates based on manager and candidate availability, booking rooms, and booking candidates in at reception.
Meet and greet candidates for interview and escort them to interview room.
Attend interviews panel and advise managers on recruitment process / take notes, recording outcome and justification of decision.
Complete appointment selection report and get appropriate sign off.
Contact successful and unsuccessful candidate and coordinate feedback.
Prepare offers for presenting to HRBP / Adviser, plus enclosures e.g. new starter forms, personal detail forms.
Pre-employment medical / Drug and Alcohol / Medical Questionnaire
Liaise direct with Client's provider (RPS) to arrange time, date and location to suit candidate
Security Reference checks - last 3 years
Employment Reference checks

Relevant qualification
Ensure regular contact with candidate throughout recruitment process, explaining processes incl. security process etc.
Chase / track all pre-employment checks
Agree start date with line manager (externals) and with incoming / outgoing manager for internals.
Confirm start date with candidate in writing and instructions for day 1.
Maintain / cleanse recruitment and selection records and update systems / tracker.
Manage spec CVs and retain relevant ones.
Send Line Manager a pre-employment checklist and complete applicable actions.
Send agency supplied worker the induction pack covering all relevant company policies e.g. smoking, alcohol and drugs, bullying and harassment etc.
Prepare recruitment documentation as required (e.g. for recruitment approvals)
Person Specification
Excellent Administration skills
Experience of working in a recruitment or HR role (desirable)
A basic understanding of relevant employment law, to ensure a fair and legally compliant recruitment process
Able to confidently work across all levels of the business and with external contacts, challenging and advising stakeholders as required
Interviewing skills/experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent IT skills
