Job Details

At Lloyds Banking Group (LBG), we're continuing to build the Bank of the Future; going through a period of huge technological and cultural transformation. As part of this change agenda, the skills and capabilities we need in the future, as a workforce, are evolving too. As a result, the way we recruit has never been more important and this is where you come in.

Want to know more?

As the Group Assessment Lead you'll shape the strategic direction of assessment practices and solutions across LBG. You'll oversee all of our current tests, tools and guidance that we use to select candidates (both internally and externally) across the thousands of hires we make every year. You will inspire and equip our hiring manager community, to ensure they make great talent appointments, in an inclusive, confident and compliant manner.

What we'll need from you:

You are likely to have an Assessment background with a qualification in Occupational Psychology. Ideally, you should also have experience of working within one or more large, complex organisations.

Capable of leading on key change initiatives, coupled with a very good understanding of the external assessment market, you will have lots of ideas to continuously improve, at pace, our assessment proposition.

Finally, as you'll be working closely with key colleagues across the People function, our wider business and external partners, you'll be able to demonstrate strong communication and relationship management skills.

What you'll get back from us:

In return for your expertise, you'll join an organisation that is focused on its inclusive culture, personal and professional development, agile working practices and health and wellbeing. In short, we'll help you be your best and fulfil your potential, by creating the right environment for you to thrive.

We'll offer you a competitive salary and a Group Performance Share award (it's what we call our bonus) and a range of other benefits. These include private health cover, share schemes, very generous pension contribution and the option of either an additional 4% cash lump sum or the choice of industry leading flexible benefits.

So if you'd welcome the opportunity to lead our assessment agenda, enabling our 60,000+ colleagues to deliver a great experience for our customers, we'd like to hear from you.

Together we'll make it possible.

Company

We’re creating an organisation that attracts, retains and develops the best talent in the industry, and one that openly embraces diversity too. But more than that – we want to be a great place to work. We invest in our people, offering the best training and coaching, and by encouraging them to contribute to our leading corporate and social responsibility practices. We offer flexible working hours and days, under our Work Options scheme. This means that you can have a challenging and rewarding career, and still have an ideal work/life balance.

Flexible working is at the heart of our strategy. We’re re-imagining where, when, and how our people work, with new approaches designed to meet the ever-changing needs of customers and colleagues. These include increasing our use of remote-working tools and technology, as well as placing less reliance on a 9-to-5 mindset. For many of our office-based colleagues, we work in hybrid ways which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of their time at one of our office sites.
