About the Team
The Retail Stock and Logistics team supports the product merchandisers by making sure that the right stock is in the right place across our UK high street, Lipsy and international franchise stores.
In retail today, few areas of expertise are as important as this. Retail Stock and Logistics are pivotal to ensuring our fantastic products are always available in our stores.
About The Role
You will:
- Support your team’s work as well as independently create and finalize all the code on multiple small projects
- Provide out of hours callout support on a weekly basis, as well as providing out of hours support to business key events.
- Maintain and support our systems through bug fixes, customized requests and small enhancements
- Develop in both a batch and online environment adhering to relevant standards
- To work closely with our user community to provide both technical and non-technical advice
Criteria
About you:
- Proven experience working in a Mainframe environment
- Strong programming skills in COBOL/DB2/JCL in both a batch and online environment
- Prioritise effectively and be prepared to be working on multiple small projects and supporting key events
- Take responsibility for system integrity
- Lead and support other team members on projects
Technical Skills:
- COBOL
