Our Cloud Adoption team is looking for a passionate Cloud Adoption Engineer to enable the acceleration of LBG's adoption of Public Cloud platforms by supporting teams to use public cloud for their applications. You'll advise on Public Cloud Adoption and will showcase strong interpersonal and communication skills. You'll also support the curation of the Public Cloud consumer facing document set, so that consumers of the services are able to be fully self-sufficient over time in using Public Cloud platforms at LBG. You'll continually develop yourself and your team with industry best practice and tooling.

What you'd get involved with

  • Being a technical subject matter expert in either Azure or GCP cloud services with detailed platform knowledge, technologies and processes
  • Being a cloud advocate - sharing knowledge of the respective platforms with consuming teams and within CCoE
  • Operating a 'front-door' service to the cloud platforms, leading the onboarding and advising on how to consume the platform appropriately
  • Supporting the training requirements and upskilling on cloud
  • Supporting consumer teams awareness of cloud native principles and standards set by architecture, risk, security, etc.
  • Supporting creation and continuous improvement of the cloud documentation set to enable self-service consumption of the platform over time
  • Providing metrics and other MI to support consuming teams in their adoption of cloud

What's needed to be considered for this job?

Essential

  • Must have experience of leading and guiding colleagues/a team through processes from start to delivery
  • Experience working with a broad set of either Azure or GCP services and products
  • Delivery of consumer outcomes to support greater adoption
  • Strong technical background across both application development and infrastructure
  • Experience managing and supporting stakeholders with differing requirements
  • Delivery of outcomes for consumers to support greater adoption
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to support the development and upskilling of consumers
  • A solid understanding of cloud native principles and cloud security


Desirable

  • Understanding of agile delivery methodologies and DevOps
  • Google Professional Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certification

***The base salary banding for this role is £68,000 - £90,000 in London and £58,000 - £78,000 outside of London, plus the above listed benefits.***
