AWE is seeking an individual with a strong interest in HR systems, with technical expertise to ensure our system is maintained and updated efficiently and effectively, bringing in new functionality as the system develops. The successful candidate will join HRIS People Services as an HR Analyst in our small but a highly productive team. The ideal candidate would be able to proactively identify opportunities for change and improvement, assist in the solution process driving change and support the development of customer led HR services.

Location - Reading area

You will be required to:

  • Implement changes to the Workday system to enhance the customer experience through prioritisation of deliverables, testing, documenting process and troubleshooting unforeseen issues
  • Interrogate and analyse data, using opportunities to improve service and systems
  • Work to resolve the more complex HR system issues raised by the business
  • Develop dashboards to meet business requirements and drive people management
  • Support HR improvement and change projects as required
  • Work with our Change and Communications departments to ensure the business is updated on relevant HR changes
  • Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external colleagues and customers

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrate a logical thought process and excellent organisational skills
  • Have proven experience of working within a system support role
  • Have a strong numerical and analytical aptitude
  • Be able to demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for this role and have the drive and ability to learn new things quickly
  • Be confident in presenting to stakeholders and influencing HR colleagues and senior leadership within HR and the wider business
  • Be highly proficient in the use of MS Excel to an advanced level and have a good understanding of Word and PowerPoint

The following are desirable for the role:

  • Practical experience of working with and supporting Workday
  • Experience of business process design, process mapping, problem solving and decision making
  • Knowledge of a service delivery model, utilising a ticketing system

 

We will also require any potential employees to be willing and able to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.
