My client is an engineering consulting services company, providing turnkey design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of a wide range of solutions to the mining, refinery and chemical processing industries. Due to increased workload they now have a vacancy for a part-time bookkeeper to join their small but specialist team. Hours are flexible around 20hrs per week, ideally 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday.

The main responsibilities of this job include:

* Credit control

* Purchase ledger

* Payment runs

* Banking

* Online banking

* Supplier queries

* VAT returns

* All reconciliations - sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank

* Payroll (monthly and weekly pay, overtime), process wages journal

* Pension payments

* Import sales invoices

* Pro-forma invoices

Required experience:

* Experience as a bookkeeper

* Knowledge of Quickbooks and Sage Payroll

* AAT qualifications desirable
