What you'll do:

  • Work closely with Director D&I and the fantastic team of Talent, Engagement, Comms and Acquisitions teams within our broader D&I function to deliver varied programmes that enable Sky's ambitious D&I strategyDesign, implement and evaluate a range of D&I impactful programmes of activity through the employee lifecycle and talent pipelines
  • Work across Sky's divisions and international territories to create alignment to our broad D&I philosophy in a way that shaped to operational / cultural demands
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues, both in the UK&I and other markets, to embed D&I into processes, policies and systems, making it a sustainable part of the 'way we do things' at Sky.
  • Enhance a culture of evidenced-based decision making to shape priorities and evaluate outcomes and design tools to use metrics to achieve helpful changes in behaviour and action.
  • Develop and evolve Sky's philosophy of stakeholder engagement to enhance our insight, creativity and trust in our approach to D&I. This will include D&I leads and champions in the local markets, our Employee Networks and the Diversity Action Group.
  • Help them align their objectives to the strategy, work collaboratively with other champions, and deliver the work as independently as possible.
  • Coordinate and collaborate Sky's submissions for reporting and industry benchmarks and take full accountability for the Ofcom Diversity in Broadcasting report in the UK&I.
  • Deliver external initiatives to drive our broader D&I industry initiatives - we aim to support or change behaviours 'for the greater good' on behalf of our people, our customers, future markets and the industry as a whole'
  • Influence inclusive marketing, communication and technology opportunities to grow our diverse employee population, customer base and brand loyalty

What you'll bring:

    A deep understanding of the drivers of inequality, the psychology of prejudice and bias with the ability to speak with authority on issues relating to disability, race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion and social mobility.Experience designing and implementing data driven D&I projects and programmes that deliver operational and cultural change and impact.The ability to acquire new knowledge and build relationships across a complex business network to define D&I activity in partnership with subject matter experts in highly specialised areasDemonstrable experience in delivering innovation and leading D&I programmes that achieve significant improvements in D&I performance as an employer, service provider or trusted partner across neighbourhoods and communitiesauthentic shifts in behaviour Strong influencing skills across multiple levels with a variety of stakeholders, champions and colleagues, demonstrating engagement and adoption of D&I strategy. This will not only be defining D&I priorities but deciding what is not a priority whilst maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.Strong project and programme management skills ensuring that strong collaboration is imbedded into work, resources are effectively used and risks are managed.Cross-function collaboration skills that drive engagement and alignment to ensure key D&I priorities are deliveredSolid attention to detail, great communication skills (verbal, written, presenting), and an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.A digital-age approach and be comfortable with hybrid working. Adapting to change and being curious about new possibilities is essential. Strong political awareness and the ability to operate outside the echo chamber and build alliances between people who may disagree with one another.

Where you'll work:


Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There's also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.
