" This role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team within Sky's Compliance Team. "- Fraud Lead

 

What you'll do:

  • Supervise day to day operations of the Fraud Team, ensuring that daily tasks and work streams are resourced appropriately, prioritised and carried out efficiently within agreed timescales, whilst maintaining excellent operational performanceDrive continual process improvement within the Fraud Team and be a subject matter expert when representing the Fraud function across Sky. Assist as necessary in the provision of ongoing learning for Fraud Analysts, and of fraud training and awareness to other business areasCarry out Line Management duties to a team of Fraud Analysts, providing the link between Fraud Analysts and Fraud Leads, ensuring effective communication across the whole team with appropriate and timely escalation to Fraud Leads as neededSupport Fraud Leads in all operational aspects, which may include reporting, data analysis, ad hoc investigations, and new business development, in support of the Fraud Strategic PlanAssess cases generated by the Fraud Management System (FMS) for unusual or suspicious activity in relation to application, payment and usage screening to prevent abuse and loss of revenue across multiple Sky productsWork rotational shift patterns and 24/7 on call cover, to ensure appropriate coverage to support current and new business needs across all products and services

What you'll bring:

  • Strong analytical experience within a fraud prevention role, with experience and knowledge from the communications industry a highly desirable qualityUnderstanding or knowledge of Sky's products and services alongside an awareness of current, possible future fraud trends and their potential impact on Sky and its customersA high level of personal integrity, confidentiality and accountability as warranted by the sensitive nature of working in Fraud. You will conduct yourself in a collaborative, confident and professional manner when representing Fraud internally and at industry level. You will be a positive role model who consistently demonstrates the Sky valuesThe ability to work well with people, demonstrating highly effective communication skills and fairness. Previous people management experience is desirableProven skills in time management and prioritisation, with the ability to respond to tight deadlines and real-time decision-making, whilst maintaining flexibility and accuracy
