This is a great opportunity to join our Technology - Content Supply Platforms.Our team develops and operates Sky's Broadcast infrastructure and content delivery systems across DTH, On Demand and OTT delivery platforms. The successful candidate will work with a team of highly skilled Developers, Test and Reliability engineers, collectively ensuring that the right content arrives at the right destination at the right time.
What you'll do- Create automation tests that are robust, concise and readable
- Conduct exploratory testing
- Identify and write acceptance criteria for user stories
- Drive the best technology and testing practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm
- Take a pro-active role with triaging and resolving production issues
- Help provide support for our existing applications / platforms
What you'll bringYou will be an expert in the following:- Creating automated test scripts (in either Python, Spock, Groovy and/or UFT)
- Experience of working with service and microservice-orientated architecture that use RESTful interfaces & tools (JSON / XML / SOAP / Postman)
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Troubleshooting skills and approach to defect resolution
- Able to write and review User Stories acceptance criteria, that is compatible with BDD
- Understand the importance of unit test coverage and ability to review and provided feedback
