About the Role
Recruitment Service:
Work closely with department managers to fully understand resourcing requirements within the team and respond quickly to recruitment needs.
Provide on-going recommendations as to the best approach to filling vacancies taking into consideration the detail of each individual campaign
Support Managers in reducing time to hire by proactively building an on-going pipeline of talent.
Maintain regular contact with talent pool candidates to increase engagement and a positive brand experience
Work closely with HR / Recruitment Manager andHR Partners to understand and anticipate confidential recruitment requirements allowing the recruitment team to provide a proactive recruitment service
Provide a flexible approach to ensure full job brief understanding and also awareness of other role requirements providing best service to the business.
As a team member support colleagues to meet overall department needs and challenges.
Using expert recruitment knowledge in your area of specialism to provide accurate advice on the most suitable recruitment strategies
Proactively keep up to date with the recruitment market to be able to offer regular new ideas on improving all aspects of the recruitment service
Manage projects in line with Recruitment Manager to make sure working on only high priority roles that can be influenced.
Challenge and influence recruitment decisions on attraction, recruitment and selection methods.
Candidate Attraction/ Generation:
To continuously develop and improve candidate attraction and selection methods. Ensuring that measurement tools are applied to each step of the process, enabling effectiveness to be measured.
Ensure a positive experience for all candidates regardless of the outcome of their application.
Research of external recruitment marketplace to keep abreast of innovative and creative ways of filling difficult vacancies.
Proactively work to continually build talent pools to aid in future recruitment needs.
Daily proactive use of social media sites, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and Snapchat, by contributing to the on-going development of the NEXT careers social media strategy, increasing brand, division and department awareness.
Demonstrate your creativity and commercial awareness when writing online adverts reflecting a true feeling of the role, the company and the benefits in line with Company tone of voice guidelines.
Openness and willingness to share ideas for the greater benefit of the wider team and the business, whilst also being able to receive feedback on those ideas as well.
Proactively and consistently promote the internal Recommend a Friend Scheme
On-Boarding and Induction
Provide a positive and engaging experience to candidates during the on-boarding and induction processes.
Work closely with department managers to ensure the candidates positive experience of the brand continues through the on-boarding and induction processes
Actively contribute to the on-going improvement of the standard on-boarding and induction processes. Using your knowledge of the market to make recommendations on best practice in this area
Criteria
About You:
Previous agency or in-house recruitment experience, specifically within theTech/IT industry
Have advanced LinkedIn Recruiter expertise
A passion for resourcing and able to headhunt effectively using innovative methods and where appropriate without the use of a platform such as LinkedIn
Display independence and self motivation
Ability to work across multiple recruitment requirements with pace
Competitive / driven character with a desire to deliver results (for the benefit of the department and business)
Focused on delivering a professional and commercial service to the business.
