Fundraising Manager
Are you an experienced fundraiser? Are you looking to join a team to define, implement and lead on a new fundraising strategy? We have an exciting, brand new role working as a Fundraising Officer, where you can really use your skills and experience to make a positive impact.
Position: Fundraising Manager
Location: Dudley (with some flexibility for home working)
Salary: £35,000 pro rata
Hours: Full and part-time hours available
Contract: Permanent
Benefits: 28 days’ annual leave, 6% pension contribution, flexible and remote working opportunities, occupational sick pay, eye care vouchers.

About the Role
Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2021, the charity has big plans to develop its fundraising capability and income generating activities that will raise much needed funds to grow vital and life changing support.
The new Fundraising Manager will be responsible for the creation, development and delivery of the central fundraising strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, experienced fundraiser to play a crucial role in a growing and ambitious organisation, developing fundraising expertise and to develop in their own fundraising career.
The Fundraising Officer plays a key part in driving growth across various contributed income streams. Your fundraising knowledge and experience will cultivate excellent relationships with all donors and stakeholders. You will use your initiative to spot trends and seek opportunities for developing and maximising fundraising activity and income.

About You
This inspiring role requires an efficient, highly motivated and tactful individual with experience in fundraising, as well as a passion for working with people and the organisations mission.
You will have experience of:
- Working in a fundraising environment
- The Fundraising Code of Practice, UK GDPR and CRM systems
- Prioritising your workload and working to targets and deadlines
- The supporter/donor journey and what motivates giving
- Submitting funding bids and proposals

This registered charity has nearly 50 years’ experience in providing residential support and treatment for people who are severely addicted to gambling. They provide advice, education and high quality innovative therapeutic support to problem gamblers and those affected by gambling, through residential, online and outreach services.
