Project Supply Chain Manager - Flexible Working

We are currently recruiting for a talented, motivated and ambitious project supply chain manager with experience of working within a regulated environment to join our growing infrastructure strategic alliance project based in Whitehaven, Cumbria. This is an exciting development opportunity for the successful candidate.
As project supply chain manager – nuclear you will:
- Be responsible for maximising value to Morgan Sindall through the structured management and development of the subcontract supply chain.
- Lead the implementation of the Morgan Sindall Supply Chain Strategy, and the development of the Business Unit Supply Chain Plan.
- Provide high quality support on supply chain engagement, selection, and development and performance management.
- Be responsible for managing a myriad of stakeholders at all levels
- Working to stringent client deadlines
- Have the ability to manage, organise and prioritise workload in accordance with demand
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) is desirable but not essential and you will have an understanding of tendering works and sub-contract / supplier terms and conditions. You will have experience in procurement, supply chain or commercial role and you will have relevant experience and knowledge of both subcontract and materials procurement practices and processes
Our work focuses on delivering non-nuclear infrastructure activities in a nuclear environment both for civil and military customers.
Infrastructure Strategic Alliance (ISA)
The ISA is an integrated team which consists of three delivery partners; Sellafield Limited, Morgan Sindall and Arup. Working in joint venture with Arup, Morgan Sindall is responsible for a £1.1 billion long term contract to provide essential infrastructure assets to the Sellafield Ltd site.
