Job Details

L&Q are looking for a Roofer to be part of our in-house Maintenance Team covering our West Region covering Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and surrounding areas. The focus will be on high quality work, outstanding customer service and a right first-time attitude. 

 

The role will be dealing with patch and large repairs to all types of pitch and flats roofs, roof riling, asphalt and felt work, guttering and downpipes. 

 

Our Operatives are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform and PPE equipment.  You will begin the day from your home address where you will travel to jobs which are distributed to your PDA (hand-held device).

The Person

  • Working knowledge of a building and/or housing environment
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service (essential)
  • Relevant City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications (or qualified by experience)
  • Able to use a PDA and Smartphone
  • Full driving licence (essential)
  • Unvented Certificate preferable
  • Working at heights, TETRA, PASMA and Scaffold skills is required (essential) 
  • Must have own hand tools (larger tools and specialist equipment will be arranged if needed)
