Reporting to the Construction Manager we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage a new residential development in West London that will re-invigorate the area and provide over 200 homes. The successful candidate will have significant experience of managing projects from pre-construction. You will be building and developing a high performing team, project planning and scheduling, project accounting and ensuring compliance with health and safety and quality standards. Essential will be your skills and experience to enable the management of our contactors in a clear and precise manner ensuring the best delivery of the scheme.

 

 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
  • Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule.
  • Devise the project work plans.
  • Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
  • Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure project documents are complete.
  • Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
  • Responsible for managing the performance of the team
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders
  • Responsible for ensuring that Quality Assurance standards are met and demonstrable 

 

It is essential that you have previous experience working for a contractor or developer in the housing sector and can demonstrate a proven track record in a similar role.
