We are currently seeking an experienced accounts administrator to work in a small local administration team which supports a remote manufacturing operation. Working within a team of 3 you will be required to complete a range of accounting and administration tasks. The role will be ideal for someone with broad experience in accounts and administration duties and who is now seeking a reduced hours role which could potentially develop into home working. Based in the Gateshead area, it is envisaged that the Part Time Accounts Administrator role will require around 15 hours work p.w. which could be scheduled over 4 or 5 days.

As a Part Time Accounts Administrator you will enjoy a varied day with a range of activities including:

* Sales Processing

* Purchasing Processing

* Banking Reconciliations

* Payments and Wages

* Folder Management

* VAT returns and other sundry activities

We are looking for someone with the following:

* Minimum of 2 years experience in a general accounts administrator role

* Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Word & Excel)

* Good organisational and problem-solving skills

* Comfortable in handling multiple tasks

* Great interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour

* Fast and accurate typing / data input skills

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* Good academic achievements including English and Mathematics
