E & U Consultant (Solution Partner)

Location:  UK Wide, UK Wide, GB

Accountable for the quality of allocated vertical consulting offerings, the Energy & Utilities Consulting Delivery Partner leads the development and delivery of consulting business for specific industry segments and/or offerings

Industry strategy: working with the portfolio team and Solution Directors/Managers/Architects from (pre-sales, AWG and Delivery Practices):

  • Contribute to the development of the industry portfolio
  • Lead the identification, definition and evolution of offerings
  • Define the consulting elements of other E&U offerings for allocated industry segments 

Thought leadership: working with E&U marketing and pre-sales:

  • Develop leading industry segment insight, thought leadership and best practice, using deep industry-specific knowledge to understand and anticipate current / future client needs and market trends
  • Build Atos’ brand in the marketplace by creation of market presence and informative content
  • Lead, represent and collaborate in the industry around proposition domain opportunities and challenges
  • Lead external and internal insight and knowledge shares for the industry segment
  • Develop strong industry networks and collaborations

Capability development:

  • Lead the definition of the methodologies, tools, accelerators and training plans required to deliver the allocated E&U consulting offerings
  • Define consulting skills/capabilities/capacity required to drive, sell and deliver these offerings
  • Identify and develop vertical partnerships to support global segment growth plans and offering sales and delivery
  • Bring to bear market knowledge to assist alliance managers in the construction of alliances and partnerships
  • Feed into training, recruitment and growth plans
  • lead on recruiting/developing these delivery capabilities
  • Line management of E&U delivery consultants

Business development:

  • Develop collateral to support sales and proposal development of allocated offerings
  • Support pre-sales, sales and Consulting Market Partners in taking the offerings to market and converting opportunities
  • Provide industry segment and offering knowledge and expertise to support opportunity development / conversion
  • Lead all aspects of review and assurance of all bids including E&U consulting allocated
  • Approve deliverability of bids for allocated offerings


  • Lead / deliver E&U consulting engagements (as Delivery Director, Engagement manager or domain specialist advisor)
  • Achieve personal utilisation target through roles on client engagement
