General Summary
Support the UK Ad Sales team in driving revenue for Discovery Networks UK from advertising, partnerships and digital campaigns with top UK advertisers, both directly with media agencies and via our Advertising Sales Representatives Sky Media, Channel 4 and Mean Broadcast. Primarily responsible for supporting the team in the management and proposal of brand partnerships and advertising campaigns across multiple platforms including on-air, digital, social.
Responsibilities
● Assisting in the management of campaigns by supporting Executives, Managers and Directors with day-to-day campaign management and getting campaigns live
● Maintain weekly sales pipeline documents by working closely with the team
● Support in brief responses with creative ideas and the use of industry research software (TechEdge, TGI, Tubular)
● Creation and monthly maintenance of sales collateral including Flyers, Sales Decks any ad hoc decks
● Responsible for brand partnership team comms including collating and distributing newsletters, LinkedIn & Instagram and keeping contact databases up to date (ALF)
● Identifying new opportunities for Discovery to drive incremental revenue, including creating hit-lists of target brands
● Work with on-air and digital inventory management to understand and manage advertising inventory availability across platforms
● Present to the team market/client/ internal information to help the development of future business
● Reporting and data input including monthly reports, post campaign analysis and ad hoc requests
● Creation of case studies on past successful partnerships and advertising campaigns
● Support Executives, Managers and Directors in maintaining relationships with all media agencies and advertising sales representatives at Sky, Channel 4 and Mean Broadcast
● Build strong inter-departmental relationships throughout Discovery
● Attend internal meetings, training and presentations and where appropriate, industry events & seminars, and provide written feedback for the team
