Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working alongside a modern independent firm of chartered accountants in Rotherham as they look to recruit a Senior Accountant to support with their growing portfolio of clients. This is a part time role (3-4 days) with the option to work from home 2-3 days per week.

This role would suit an experienced finance professional looking to work within a modern and progressive firm able to offer an excellent salary and benefits package along with 5 weeks annual leave plus statutory holidays and Christmas shutdown.

The successful candidate will have significant experience within practice and be comfortable in a client facing role preparing limited company accounts, personal and corporation tax returns, managing software queries and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders and Partnerships.
* To Prepare Individual, Partnership and Corporation Tax Returns
* Management Accounts
* Reviewing, preparing and submitting VAT returns on behalf of your clients
* Support clients with general matters to include bookkeeping and VAT returns
* Ensure client relationships are consistently maintained
* Provide clients with accountancy software support

Background required:

* Experience working in practice accountancy essential
* Ability to prepare accounts to final stage
* Qualifications advantageous (i.e. AAT, ACCA, ACA) or qualified through experience
* Accountancy software experience essential, Iris, Sage 50, Xero, Quick Books.
