Our client is committed to healthy living, youth development and social responsibility and the role of Residential Social Care Worker is a great opportunity to join a workplace that lives by its core values of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Caring.

About the Role

Your role as a Residential Social Care Worker will be to provide care and support to children and young people living in residential homes.

You will work with the children every day to increase their social skills, education, health, and independence, as well as helping them to develop confidence and emotional well-being. You will ensure that they are safeguarded at all times whilst in your care. You will also plan and join in with activities and undertake a range of administrative tasks for which you will be trained in.

About You

Ideally the Residential Social Care Worker would have a Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce, however you will be supported to achieve this mandatory qualification if you demonstrate a genuine desire and ability to support young people with challenging and complex needs.

An understanding of working in a regulated or residential setting would be advantageous, however this is not essential. If you want to support children and young people, have an interest in self-development and learning and consider yourself a good team player we would love to hear from you.

If you would like to work for an organisation who genuinely care about its employees, offers an excellent benefits package, believes in training and development and enables staff to be the very best they can be, then this may be the role for you!

This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (which our client will pay for) and registration with the DBS Update Service.

Other roles you may have experience of include Social Care Worker, Youth Worker, Youth Social Care, Youth Residential, Residential Care, Social Care, etc.
