We help pioneering businesses and charities innovate to transform their impact on the world. We’re part innovation consultancy, part start-up builders, part venture studio. As a result we’re an eclectic team of purpose-led innovators, entrepreneurs, designers, researchers and developers
We're recruiting for a part time Operations Manager. The Ops Manager is a key role in Good Innovation to ensure the business runs as efficiently and as smoothly as possible. It’s a core, central role, getting involved with everyone.
The requirements of this role will evolve and adapt as the business changes and grows, but the current key responsibilities of this role are:
Ensure that projects are commercially effective
-
Own our internal project management system. Ensure the team use it and the data is accurate, and use it to set up new projects, issue invoices, pay suppliers, chase debtors, reporting weekly KPIs, predict and manage resourcing availability and report revenue and profitability
-
Be the central point of contact for the team, answering questions and training them in how to use it
-
Update the system with ways to make it easier, more accurate and to extract and report key information
-
Maintain and update our internal directory with processes, best practice, training guides etc
Coordinate and support our business development activities
-
Own, manage and continually improve our CRM system on Airtable, including chasing people on their actions and producing weekly KPIs.
-
Coordinate the marketing calendar, ensuring future plans are made and agreed and producing content (such as social media / LinkedIn posts) yourself as well as managing others to produce their content
Support with freelancers and recruitment
-
Create and maintain a freelancer database and be their first point of contact
-
Support with the recruitment and onboarding of staff
Support the Good Innovation culture and environment
-
Ensure we all continually improve how we work - identify ways we can operate better and ensure lessons from completed projects are captured, shared and acted upon
-
Create and organise moments for the team to spend time together, including sharing sessions and socials
-
Track and celebrate our individual and collective impact, including producing a monthly key achievements / impact and lessons learnt report, quarterly Value Awards and a 6 monthly team review / plan / celebration session
Manage the office
-
Manage an office move at the end of 2021, including helping find sites, managing any fit out and the move itself
-
Ensure the office is tidy, organised, stocked and working well for everyone
Role flexibility
This is a 0.6 FTE role. We’re flexible with how this works in practice - it could be 3 full days per week or it could be reduced hours over 4 or 5 days to fit around other commitment, such as childcare.
The role will require some time in the office (we're near Waterloo Station in London), but we can be flexible around being in the office and working remotely.
Salary and benefits
This role is £28-35k (FTE)
We offer 25 days holiday (FTE)
