About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen at our award winning Guy Salmon Land Rover Retailer in Wakefield for a Service Advisor, working as part of a team in our busy Aftersales department providing outstanding customer care whilst dealing with their service and vehicle repairs.

As a Service Advisor, your key responsibilities involve providing our customers with a first class customer service and taking care of all their servicing and repair needs. Working closely with the workshop to ensure all work is completed on time and to schedule. You will inform and consult on vehicle servicing, and keep the customer up to date at every stage whilst answering any questions or queries they may have. You will also liaise with technicians/workshop control about vehicle statuses and ensure that vehicles will be ready on time. You will also have the ability to give the best advice of our products and services to our customers.

This is a challenging role where customer care always comes first, you'll take the time to talk to people, build a genuine rapport and identify exactly what our customers want and need.

Sytner Service Advisors work a variety of flexible patterns which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

About you

You will have a proven track record as a Service Advisor, ideally in the motor industry and knowledge of Kerridge computer system would be an advantage. We are looking for an outstanding individual with organisational and administrative skills along with good attention to detail.

This role will require you to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team as well as individually. You will have experience with the skills and passion to deliver them. You will also have high energy and a positive attitude, outstanding listening and communication skills, be well organised and handle working in a busy but fun environment. This role will require you to be highly professional and have the ability to give best advice on our products and services to our customers.

Training is provided through our dedicated in-house Learning & Development team and outstanding manufacturer courses run by Land Rover to support your career.
