Our client, within the medical industry and established for almost 20 years, is looking for a part time Compliance Analyst (hours to be flexible) to undertake a variety of duties, including supporting the clinical governance and quality assurance within the business.

Key Duties:

• Assisting with diary management
• Implementing the Health & Safety requirements
• Maintenance of the electronic database/spreadsheets, as well as ensuring forms and process versions are up to date, including events, complaints and other reporting compliance systems, as directed
• Ensuring all learning events are uploaded to the appropriate spreadsheets and following up reporting in the required agenda for discussions
• Assisting in managing offsite bookings, ensuring risk assessments are in place and all requirements noted from clients
• Using adobe software to update documents as directed
• Uploading of policies/documentation as directed and following up the reporting of staff members to ensure compliance
• Assisting the director in the UKAS management process and reporting/ensuring all data is reported to the PHE daily
• Assisting in the collection of data for clinical audits/administrative audits as requested
• Following up documents and editing for ratification of processes/policies
• Assisting in the management of Smart Survey to ensure quality feedback from staff/patients
• Providing administrative support for the PGD process and other governance documentation
• Managing feedback responses daily
• Organising/scheduling the MAC meetings and following up actions as directed
• Undertaking regular audits/risk assessments as directed across the business
• Ensuring all compliance requirements are up to date, including policies and training requirements, as well as the completion of minor incident spreadsheets as required
• Maintaining the training/development database
• Liaising with operations to organise details for guest trainers/training sessions to be held on-site, considering a safety assessment during COVID
• Setting up new staff on to the training platform
• Assisting with other activities relating to training and development when requested
• Playing an active role in answering the telephones, responding and dealing with queries
• Any other ad-hoc duties that may arise

Special requirements include:

• Educational achievement to at least GCSE (or equivalent), including English Language and Maths
• Computer literate with the ability to use a range of software programmes, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to learn new IT software quickly (with training)
• Excellent organisational/interpersonal skills
• A clear understanding of the importance of creating a safe environment
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage time
• Ability to work effectively with others, exercising good initiative and judgement
• Excellent numeracy skills and communication skills (both verbally and written)
• Self-motivated with a flexible approach
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
