Purchase Ledger - Spider is advertising on behalf of a national and highly respected electrical wholesale company who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team based in Colchester, working a minimum of 30 hours per week.

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will take on a variety of administration and general office duties including:

Processing Goods received paperwork onto in-house system
Processing and posting of Supplier Invoices through the in-house system
Purchase Ledger and processing customer credits
Creating Payment Batches
Invoice checking against orders
Customer invoicing
Filing paperwork in a timely manner
Daily banking reconciliation and Occasional Banking
Full main Support for the Sales Team and general office duties including preparing the post

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an office environment and have English and Maths, minimum of grade C/4 or above, For the right candidate we will consider offering an apprenticeship. You will have strong numerical skills with attention to detail and IT literate. You will have the ability to work in an organised way and manage your time effectively.

This Purchase Ledger role is for a minimum of 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. Working hours are flexible for the right candidate (to be discussed at the interview stage) and offering a competitive salary (depending on experience).
