Vantage Consulting are looking for a talented HR Business Partner to join our fast-paced recruitment business based in Stafford. The organisation has identified opportunities for significant business growth and is looking to augment the leadership team with the appointment of a people focused and commercially astute HRBP. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to deliver meaningful change and make a real impact in a scaling environment. This is a stand-alone role and you must be savvy and strategic enough to advise and challenge the Senior Leadership Team.

You will act as a true partner to the business, responsible for providing a comprehensive HR service on both an operational and strategic level. You will ensure that the people agenda drives a high-performance culture and nurtures the agility required for growth. This includes full employee lifecycle management from talent acquisition, talent retention and succession planning, employee relations to operational HR and employee engagement. You will have the ability to motivate others and influence work behaviours, managing the balance between a commercial and employee focused approach.

Main responsibilities:

Delivering strategic HR to support the achievement of business goals and objectives working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team.
Provide an excellent operational HR service that supports the core values
Develop the credibility to implement key initiatives to support growth
Manage and drive continuous improvements against key HR metrics including staff turnover, absence, and employee engagement
Identify underlying causes for poor performance and offer solutions to assist the business to improve. Develop and deliver the performance management project
Embed the core values across the business in partnership with the Executive Leadership Team
Ensure continued talent management, and succession planning to grow internal talent
Lead and respond effectively to industrial relations and other organisational issues, challenges and opportunities
Ensure all managers and staff uphold principles of fairness, equality, inclusiveness and diversity across the employee life cycle
Support the L&D Manager in line with the Company training programme

Experience working at a senior management level
Good employment law understanding and ability to translate employment law into a commercial environment
Experience in change management
Experience in managing and analysing HR metrics
Experience in HR project management
Recruitment experience advantageousSkills:

CIPD qualified
Deliver operational HR to an excellent standard
Able to manage change proactively, motivate and influence work behaviours
Able to deliver HR projects to drive company culture
Excellent communication skills
Good problem solver and able to work effectivity within a fast-paced environment
Complete work with an ethos of right first time
Possess a strong work ethic and organisational skills
Results orientated with an eye for detail
Must be flexible, proactive and hands on
