About you:

Our Application & Management team is dedicated to delivering the packaging, deployment, migration & upgrade of Vendor applications, Inhouse developed applications, Microsoft Office and associated 3rd party integrations and tools.

You'll be working among a group of skilled and experienced staff responsible for the management, administration, and delivery of the firm's desktop applications environment.

 

What we're looking for:

We're looking for an Engineer with demonstrable experience in medium to large scale IT environments with good technical proficiency combined with a strong problem-solving ability and initiative towards driving forward improvements.

 

What we're looking for you to have:

  • SCCM and Intune (Application Packaging, Deployment, Patch Management & Troubleshooting)

  • Packaging technologies and customisations, including InstallShield AdminStudio, MSI, MSIX, Orca

  • Application virtualisation App-V 5.1 on various platforms

  • Scripting, ideally PowerShell

  • Supporting & Troubleshooting applications and services on Microsoft Server (2012, 2016, 2019) and Windows 10 Operating Systems

  • Microsoft Office 2016/Office 365 Applications support, administration and troubleshooting, including Office add-ins

  • A good understanding of networking, IT Infrastructure and hardware

 

What will you do?

You'll be supporting multiple deployment technologies and applications to help the team deliver the best-in-class support and innovation to the business. You'll be involved in the technical delivery of application packaging and software deployment activities in the support of project and platform requirements and in the involvement in all delivery elements of projects including planning, problem solving and implementation tasks for a wide range of business applications. Additionally you'll provide technical break fix support in relation to application and software issues across the client estate and will be the partner, customer, and vendor liaison throughout the application delivery lifecycle. And you'll provide technical support and guidance to other colleagues, and contractors and will identify and deliver service and process improvements
