Newly created role for an exciting start-up business in Nottingham who already have a multi-million pound turnover

Client Details

Based out of Nottinghamshire, this company have installed themselves at the forefront of the UK's push for Renewable Energy. Working with companies of all shapes & sizes in the UK & internationally, we need an Accountant who can add commercial value to the organisation, initially joining part-time, then developing from within the business as they continue to grow.

Description

The key responsibilities for this varied & versatile, part-time accountant role include:

?? Budgeting & Forecasting

?? Cash flow

?? Costing (raw materials, labour variance, project management)

?? Preparation of monthly Management Account packs

?? VAT returns

?? All P&L statements

?? Debt collection activity

?? Process international transactions

?? Statutory Accounting including liaising with the external Auditors

?? Help to complete all month-end and year-end duties

?? Managing the Banking reports and providing information when needed

?? Leading relationships with external stake holders

?? Bank reconciliations including resolving discrepancies

?? Maintain Customer and Supplier financial information

?? Reconcile Supplier statements

?? Ad hoc payments and bank transfers as required

?? The role is initial part time c2-3 days a week with the capacity to convert into a permanent role

Profile

Experience required;

?? Candidates will ideally be qualified accountants (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or qualified-by-experience with relevant and suitable industry experience in a finance capacity

?? A confident self-starter who will communicate clearly, who will enjoy being part of a small, high-growth team & environment

?? Demonstrable history of adding value in a financial capacity

?? Ability to communicate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders at all levels of seniority

?? Experience utilising raw financial & numerical data to support key decision-making across various areas of the business

?? Experience within a high-growth or start-up environment preferred

?? Must be familiar with Quickbooks
