The Role:

You will act as the main point of contact for line managers on generalist HR matters providing a comprehensive, pragmatic and customer focused HR support and advice.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Main point of contact for sites in relation to people matters.
Advising, supporting, and guiding managers with all matters relating to recruitment, engagement, training and development, org. design, absence management and complex employee relations.
Ensuring effective ER case management through external consultancy provision and management of complex and high-level cases
Managing long/short term sickness cases.
Maintaining employee information and key metric data
Advising on flexible working, maternity, paternity, and SPL leave requests and ensuring relevant paperwork is produced.
Developing effective relationships with the business to promote good employee relations across the organization.
Talent and succession planning for all levels below Senior Leadership team - creating a culture of development of internal talent pipeline
Development and training activity for site leadership teams and colleagues
Focus on creating an engaged workforce where the colleague journey is a positive one
Providing and analysing sickness absence data and compiling reports for senior management.
Ensuring critical monthly HR processes are executed on a timely basis ensuring payroll deadlines are met.
Completing exit interviews and analysing data to develop reports to for senior management.
Review, develop, and update policies in line with current legislation and best practice.
Report and adhere to cost control and spend justification.
Ensure value for money and 2 quote requirements for all expenditure.
