About the role

Guy Salmon Land Rover Sheffield are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Receptionist/Host Manager to join our fantastic team! As a Sytner Receptionist/Host, you should share your passion for our brand every day and immerse customers in the world of Land Rover.

You will be responsible for a team of 10 Receptionist/Hosts. The team welcome every customer through our doors, managing their visit by directing them to the correct department efficiently and offering refreshments throughout. They also manage incoming calls and are responsible for connecting customers to the right department promptly.  The team are the first impression for our customers and also help proactively manage the experience of whoever visits our showroom so that each customer and guest feel that they have had a uniquely personal and bespoke service. 

Your role will be to manage the team effectively providing cover where required. This will include authorising holidays and organising a rota to ensure our Sales and Aftersales departments are fully covered at all times. You will also need to carry out regular reviews for the team and ensure any follow-up actions are put in place. You will also be required to liaise with Departmental Manager's to ensure our processes run smoothly and to implement any changes.

You will be required to work 40 hours per week during the hours of 8am – 6pm.

About You

You will need to have previous experience in a customer facing role and the ability to get the best out of a team of people to achieve a combined goal.

You will need to be friendly, resilient and flexible with a strong character.

To provide the best service to our customers we need someone who is a proactive communicator within our dealership teams. You would also need to have excellent organisational and preparation skills coupled with great attention to detail.
