Supporter Engagement Centre Development Manager
Do you have a passion for delivering excellent operational processes in a customer facing function? Do you want to see thousands more children released from poverty in Jesus’ name?
We are looking for an Engagement Centre Development Manager who can utilize their experience of managing workload, analysing customer data and maximising staff impact to ensure key retention and engagement outcomes.
Position: Engagement Centre Development Manager
Location: Office-based in Fleet, Hampshire
Salary: Starting salary £33,900 (Within the grade £33,900 - £40,090)
Hours: Full time: 35 hours (5 days) per week, worked from Monday to Saturday within the hours 08:00-20:00
Benefits: Enhanced pension scheme with 10% employer contribution, equivalent of 5 normal working weeks' annual leave a year, plus normal bank holidays, Dental Insurance, Income Protection and Group Life cover on appointment.

About the Role
As the Engagement Centre Development Manager, you’ll lead your team to deliver excellence in core operational processes, including sponsorship fulfilment, stewardship of supporters’ data, colleague training, and management of contact centre workload. By doing this well, you’ll set the Engagement Centre team up for success in meeting key retention and engagement outcomes to help the charity achieve its strategic goals to see thousands more children released from poverty in Jesus’ name.
Responsibilities included:
- Actively maintain and promote the charity’s ethos and values
- Manage and improve core Engagement Centre (EC) operational processes to exceed supporters’ expectations and equip frontline EC teams for success
- An Engagement Centre Operations team structured and developed to meet the charity’s key outcomes, with supporters Known, Loved, Protected, and Ignited to Action
About You
To flourish in this role, you’ll need:
- Leadership experience in an operational role leading a team with responsibility for daily operational processes and procedures
- Experience of a CRM tool or customer database, including working with internal or external IT teams to brief and manage improvements to the CRM to improve supporter/customer retention and data management
- Experience and confidence using Excel with large data sets, to analyse data, spot trends and make informed decisions
- To be educated to at least A level standard and/or be able to show relevant work-based experience in a results driven organisation
- Core office/administrative skills
