Our team

We're a creative production Storytelling team in Lloyds Banking Group's Design Team; planning, writing, editing, and delivering outstanding quality, highly polished content for video, digital, print & social. Primarily inspiring our colleagues, as well as supporting the Bank's external profile, you'll be collaborating with Producers, Animators, Filmmakers, Motion Graphic, Graphic Artists, and stakeholders to ensure that the narrative structure for all our content is fit for channel, audience, and purpose. We're a fun and diverse team who love what we do!

About the role

Do you love and understand the power of words? As a highly skilled and experienced Creative Writer in the team, you'll be drawing ideas and inspiration from participants across the Group. You'll contribute to delivering the highest quality written and visual content across all formats and platforms.

What we need from you

  • Experience in interpreting briefs, developing editorial formats and ideas in a fast-paced environment. Strong scriptwriting and editorial abilities for different mediums.
  • Contributing to ideation, strategy, and brainstorm sessions with teams.
  • Experience adapting style, tone, and content to appeal to a range of audiences with proven success, with demonstrable examples of work within written and audio-visual formats
  • Working with the graphic, motion, and film production teams to ensure all content has a clear narrative arc and call to action.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and interviewing skills.

Desirable

  • Advisory experience to a broad range of colleagues and groups on best practice in the production of engaging written content.
  • Hands-on knowledge of variety of content creation styles, channels, and approaches.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and screenwriting software and formatting.
