Our client is a friendly accountancy practice based in the Stone area. They are looking for a part time Senior Payroll Assistant to join their team.
Job Description:
As the sole payroll person within the business, you'll be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for a variety of clients, providing excellent service and expertise. Duties will include:
Processing payroll for approximately (Apply online only) clients ranging from small companies, up to organisations with 50-60 employees
Dealing with RTI submissions
Dealing with HMRC notifications
Calculating SSP, SMP etc
Processing P45's, P60s's, P11D's etc
Processing pension contributions
Handling client queries and building up effective working relationships
Preparing month end and year end payroll information For the part time Payroll position, it would be good to see candidates who:
Have payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice although any payroll background will be considered
Have Sage Payroll experience
Are able to build effective working relationships with clients
Are able to work on their own initiative in an autonomous role Hours: 25 hour per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: GBP15.00 per hour
