The Role
We are currently supporting a long establish company based in Doncaster who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager (Number 1 in finance) on a part time basis of around 30 hours/week.
The role of Finance Manager will report into the Managing Director and will supervise one member of staff, duties will include:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, this will include presenting finding to the board of director at monthly meetings
* Produce year end management accounts
* Preparation of staff payroll
* Reconciliation of business banking
* Production of VAT returns
* Manage the daily taking of business and ensure details are accurately recorded on client accounts
* Payment of suppliers
* Oversee the purchase and sales ledger
* Assist in identifying potential cost savings across business
* Provide ad hoc assistance with operational matters including business insurance, energy contracts etc.
Skills and Qualities
* The successful candidate will be AAT qualified or qualified by experience coupled with sufficient experience in operating a number one in finance compliance
* Experience in the use of Sage Line 50
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to work closely with Company Directors, offering commercial accounting support, including presenting accounts information at Board meetings
Salary and Benefits
* GBP25,000 to GBP35,000 dependent upon experience (FTA)
* 30 Hours/week, business flexible on hours and days worked
