Wellbeing, Engagement and Training Adviser

Job Purpose

As part of the Wellbeing and Inclusion Team, the Wellbeing, Engagement and Training Adviser will develop and implement Wellbeing, Engagement and Training programmes to support the Wellbeing and Inclusion strategy. Engagement and training programmes will support sustainable high performance across teams and allow employees to thrive through better engagement and wellbeing.

Wellbeing

  • Support the development of wellbeing and Inclusion strategy for Europe, ensuring alignment with the Australian hub.
  • Work with projects and functions to trial and implement dynamic and flexible working approaches
  • Provide advice, information, and guidance for the provision of wellbeing support available.
  • Co-ordinate wellbeing impact evaluation database/programme that delivers measurable data on the engagement and success of our wellbeing programme
  • Communicate and embed the five pillars of wellbeing; physical, mental, financial, workplace and social so employees understand how to manage and enhance their wellbeing.
  • Provide bid support to work winning teams
  • Foster positive working relationships between the wellbeing team and projects/workplaces
  • Keep abreast of new developments in relation to wellbeing and inclusion, making recommendations for implementing new approaches/innovations into the business

Training & Engagement

  • Design and implement the next level of human innovation training to align safety, next gear, wellbeing and inclusion
  • Design and deliver Train the Trainer programmes to allow self-delivery model across specific programmes (Energy Project, mental health)
  • Manage the Energy Project trainers, providing coaching and development opportunities
  • Co-ordinate focus groups and present findings for improvement programmes
  • Design and deliver wellbeing, inclusion and human innovation content for all development programmes (Grads, School leavers, Supervisors)
  • Develop education and communications strategies designed to improve engagement of workforce in wellbeing and inclusion.
  • Work closely with the Learning and Development team in People Services to align with the Learning & Development approach.

Mental Health

  • Support the development of the mental health strategy
  • Manage the mental health champions programme. Coach and provide development opportunities for this community of peer support
  • Develop and communicate tools and support services
  • Measure and manage the metrics to understand impact of our mental health approach

Skills and experience:

  • Thought leader in wellbeing and mental health
  • Qualified trainer
  • Mental Health First Aid Trainer or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative and innovative thinking to drive education, training and communications
  • An ability to influence change, remove barriers and create a culture of transparency and openness with an inclusive mindset.
  • High energy, self starter and able to independently operate
  • Experience of working with data, producing reports and using this to inform policy and initiatives
  • Strong project management skills (organisation, time management, project management)
