My client are on the market looking for an experienced Risk Manager to ensure the effective management of risk across their organisation. The post holder will be responsible for developing, implementing, and embedding risk and incident management policies, procedures and systems and processes, learning from adverse events to contribute to a quality improvement agenda to improve services.

The post holder will ensure that the overall approach promotes an open and positive risk management culture in which staff pro-actively identify and prevent risks and hazards before they escalate, supporting the delivering of high-quality services and customer experience. This includes:

• Supporting the incident reporting and management processes
• Risk assessment and management
• Management and governance of risk registers
• Deputise for the Risk and Compliance manager as required

Essential Skills:

• Detailed and substantial knowledge, understanding, experience and use of incident reporting systems, risk registers and frameworks
• Experience of Datix risk management software and data analysis (or other similar system)
