Job Details
The Role
Here at Amey we have an opportunity for a Contract Services Administrator to join the team as we enter an exciting new phase.
You will provide wide ranging administrative support and be responsible for the day-to-day administration in the contract administration team within Procurement, covering our supplier evaluation, commercial contract pack validation and purchase order creation.
To be successful you will deliver an effective and efficient day-to-day service to internal and external stakeholders by providing excellent customer service when processing tasks to fulfil business requirements.
Duties
- Creation of purchase orders for in scope ordering.
- Review, route and escalate operational constraints.
- Resolve queries and escalations relating to the contract administration team.
- System administration for Amey supplier onboarding.
- Creation and logging of the workload into audit logs.
- Requests for Experian Reports for Amey supply chain.
- Validation of companies' house information.
- Auditing of supplier information submissions.
- Validation of supplier CIS status
Experience and Skills
Qualifications
- Education to GCSE (or equivalent) or experience in a similar/same role
Skills
- Customer Service Skills
- Good verbal and written communication
- Able to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels
- Problem Solving and route cause analysis
- Attention to Detail
Experience
- Experience in construction and civil engineering contracts environment
- Experience of system Management
- Experience of administration / business support role
Technical competencies
- Use of SAP or equivalent systems
- Use of Web Based platforms and onboarding systems including procurement sourcing systems
- Highly competent level of IT skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- High degree of numeracy and accuracy
