About the Role

You'll be responsible for providing administrative support to the ITS business unit, including the monitoring and administrating of the requirements of the Highways Electrical Association Sector Scheme for the Colas ITS business. You'll administer and monitor training compliance, whilst ensuring all records and training certificates are up to date.

As part of the role you will:

* Support all aspects of company H&S;

* Business Unit H&S Day

* Near miss and, incident reporting and, investigations.

* Attending toolbox talks

* Support the National Operations manager by creating and, maintaining a schedule of all development training within the ITS business unit.

* Coordinate the training requirements of our operational teams and, communicate them through our training schedule to all operational supervisors/managers on a weekly basis.

You will be our main point of contact for all internal and external training queries, whilst accurately and efficiently resolving them with support from the operational managers. You will create and communicate all training request forms with our company level training coordinator. You'll book hotel accommodation and travel when required. You'll liaise and share all training certificate/records with Colas Ltd training Officer. And you'll produce end of month reports detailing training status of all ITS staff and where appropriate our sub-contractors.

About you

You will ideally be able to demonstrate knowledge and, experience of working with the HEA - Highways Electrical Association Sector Scheme 8 and you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills

* IT skills - Intermediate level on;

* MS Office Word, Excel and, PowerPoint

* MS SharePoint

* HEA - Authorising Officer (AO) is desirable
