Job Details

At Lloyds Banking Group, we have a clear purpose; to help Britain prosper and to become the best Financial Services provider for our customers. Through our brands, our Group has a relationship with just about every household and community in the UK. We underpin the lives of millions of individuals and businesses, and play a key role in helping to build a growing UK economy.

Here in the Operational Risk Capital & Analytics team, we calculate operational risk capital, including owning all elements of the Group, Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) and Ring-Fenced Bank (RFB) capital modelling (i.e. design, implementation, control and governance). We also produce the operational risk components of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) documents (including writing the text that goes to the regulator) and produce operational risk stress test outputs, including owning all aspects of the Group stress test model. We have oversight of the Pillar 1 operational risk capital calculations prepared by Finance colleagues and lead the Divisional operational risk capital allocation approach. In addition, we provide SME input to broader elements of the design and execution of the Group operational risk management framework (including e.g. scenario analysis and loss data capture)

What you'll be doing

As the Operational Risk Capital - Senior Manager, you'll analyse, investigate and evaluate risk. • Preparing papers for senior governance forums and ensuring a well-controlled environment including keeping the Group, LBCM and RFB capital models within governance

    • Providing proactive support to scenario analysis design and implementation and constructive challenge to scenario outputs

  • Supporting delivery of the OR elements of the Group's stress testing exercises including potentially leading on one or more of the following:

    • Implementing approaches for forecasting operational risk losses

    • Preparing papers for senior governance forums

  • Ensuring a well-controlled environment and undertaking ad-hoc analytics e.g. loss data studies

And as we're embracing collaborative, agile ways of working, there will be opportunities for flexible working. Join us and discover how this could work for you.
