What we do
KPMG’s Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare (IGH) practice is at the forefront of helping to define and transform key public services for the United Kingdom. We are working with clients to shape public policy and develop new approaches to delivering better quality services in a digital age. Our work is helping national and local government to define how services will be delivered to people across the country; our work covers a wide spectrum of public services including health care, education, offender management, policing, border security, transport, international trade, and services for agriculture, food and the environment as well as services for employment and tax/benefits management.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and coordinating internal risk/engagement management processes, developing high level plans, budget calculators, attending Deal Boards and gaining approval to start work.
- Stakeholder management; managing expectations and gaining support.
- Provide insight across a range of technology areas
Capability Development. - Working with colleagues to identify and develop specific engagement opportunities – translating potential demand into new engagements.
What we are looking for
- Be self-motivating and also able to inspire and motivate others.
- An understanding of relevant government standards, policies and procedures.
- Typically candidates would have a proven track record of working with IGH clients.
- Proven skills in architecture including experience of defining or utilising TOGAF, or industry equivalent, standards.
