About the role

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic team at Sytner BMW & MINI Coventry as Bodyshop Manager.

As Bodyshop Manager, you will lead a fantastic team in delighting our customers and getting it right first time. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Bodyshop, ensuring that we operate efficiently and produce high quality workmanship in line with the premium brands that we represent. You will manage people and processes to maximise opportunities across a range of channels, including retail cosmetic repairs, preparation of used cars for sale and insurance repairs following accident damage.

Each of our dealerships boasts state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and technology in our workshops, which are safe, friendly and clean, and this is an exciting time to join as further investment and expansion is planned.

This is a full-time role which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible level of service.

About you

Experience and understanding of all aspects of running a Bodyshop and managing insurance repairs are essential, therefore you will already hold a similar position in the motor industry.

This is a busy role that would suit an ambitious, forward-thinking, people orientated person, and you should hold Audatex and VDA accreditation.

You must be well organised with a strong ability to manage and streamline processes. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.

Experience in a main dealer Bodyshop would be advantageous, as the efficient preparation of used cars in readiness for sale is a key element of the role, however we are also looking for an individual that has the appetite to continue our success and grow the department further with the expansion of retail cosmetic repairs such as alloy wheel refurbishment.
