An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Site Facilities Manager to be responsible for the Maintenance and Compliance of the Greenbridge Head Office and Distribution Centre. This role will be responsible for ongoing management and delivery of compliance across PPM, Statutory, Reactive and Planned Maintenance with an over-arching role to ensure all works completed fall within the highest standards of Health & Safety.
You’ll be responsible for a small team of site engineers to ensure the compliance and delivery of maintenance activities is first class to ensure that all parties work in a safe environment.
This is an onsite position at our Head Office in Swindon, which will require flexibility to work some weekends and on call alongside the team.
What we are looking for:
• CDM & IOSH experience
• Facilities Management experience
• Maintenance Compliance Management experience
• Experience using Microsoft Excel
• Programme/ Project Management experience is desirable
• Proven experience within a similar role
• Line Manager experience is desirable
What you’ll be doing:
• Work safely always to ensure compliance with all Health and Safety requirements
• Leading a team of 3 maintenance engineers/ technicians
• Assisting colleagues in the site maintenance team & working closely with contractors across the site
• Ability to work both autonomously and also as part of a team
• To attend and participate positively in training and appraisal activities as required
• Carry out corrective maintenance duties as requested, promptly escalating any serious problems or failures to aid follow up by our specialist external contractors when required
• Flexibility to undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
• Provide shift cover supporting other team members during absence due to holidays and sickness
