Job Details

Starting from £30,321 per annum to £34,354 per annum plus £1,300 per annum Essential Car User Allowance

It’s an exciting time for L&Q as we transform our services for customers and staff, so we are looking for self-starters who are ready to solve problems and provide a first-class service to our customers.

As a Property Manager you will own a patch of approximately 1200 units which will include leasehold and general needs homes. You will be responsible for ensuring all customers are happy and safe. To assist you our specialist teams are on hand, however it will be your role to ensure they deliver for your customers every time and be the go to person on everything about your patch, we are therefore looking for people who are ready to make things happen! Our Property Managers will be expected to seek out solutions for all customers whatever their needs and will need to be able to think independently and creatively. We are looking for resilient people with energy and capability: you don't necessarily need a background in housing to undertake this role.

You should be able to show that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a complex workload as well as being able to demonstrate a strong track record of providing excellent customer service with the ability to think on your feet and take responsibility and ownership for the schemes you will manage. The ability to monitor the financial costs of managing properties and scrutinise service charges would also be desirable.

It is also essential that you hold a current driving licence and have access to a car.

Closing date for applications:  26th July 2021 at 11.00pm

Interviews will take place via video call on a date to be confirmed

From partnerships with small housing associations and SMEs to the creation of whole new towns, this is a truly unique opportunity.

Our vision is that everyone should have a quality home they can afford, and we combine our social purpose and commercial drive to create homes and neighbourhoods we can be proud of.
