Job Details

Willmott Dixon Interiors is now recruiting for an Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join our team. Your base would be split between our newly refurbished office in Farringdon and home working to suit and you will champion and contribute to the company strategic plan to build and maintain a robust, sustainable and competitive supply chain.

Willmott Dixon Interiors' reputation is inextricably linked to the quality of what we procure. Our supply chain partners are responsible for delivering our projects on site. Their expertise, professionalism and engagement are critical to what we do.

So, making our supply chain a reflection of our company is one of our key aims. Our approach is to build strong, open and positive relationships with suppliers and providers which share our values, and to make them an integral part of our business- you will help forge and manage those relationships effectively. You may be involved in organising or presenting at supply chain partner workshops on sustainability, social value, BIM, H&S, the design consortium, diversity and modern slavery.

As an interiors specialist our projects are diverse and may involve complicated refurbishments of existing premises. These may be from circa £5m to circa £25m in value.

We are a very customer focused business and would expect our Supply Chain team to constantly reinforce and deliver our customer first ethic and 'Everything Completed with Pride'.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive team and we hope to offer you a career of a lifetime.

Willmott Dixon Interiors deliver nationwide projects across the Commercial, Hotel, Leisure, Retail, Education and Health sectors. No matter the scope or scale of the project, our people are the best in the business and have the specialist knowledge required to rise to any project challenges that may come their way.

Values that we live by and would hope you do too - Courage, being Open and Respect for everyone (COR).

Are you an innovator? We are not afraid to think big and embrace innovative ideas to make sure we deliver a better, stronger and more personal offer and exceed our customers' expectations.

Assistant Supply Chain Manager objectives include:

  • To accurately maintain the supply chain database.
  • To help find, vet and ensure capability of our supply chain.
  • To communicate effectively and influence.
  • Manage a varied workload with multiple conflicting deadlines.
  • To identify opportunities to add value to our processes and supply chain.
  • Help organise "meet the buyer" events and supply chain workshops.
  • To identify risks and opportunities.

Our office (when you need to go to it - how times have changed) is within easy reach of a number of stations: Blackfriars, Cannon Street, Farringdon, Fenchurch Street, Holborn, Liverpool Street and Waterloo and all the fantastic amenities, our customers and food destinations that part of London offers!
