An exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Membership bodies in London on a part-time, 8-month fixed term contract as an Assessment Lead. You will work closely with the Learning Manager and Chief Examiner to deliver assessment methodology across a range of professional qualifications.

You MUST be educated to degree level, ideally within the Education sector and have extensive experience overseeing processes of end point assessments, preferably in a digital/online learning environment.

The Role

Design and deliver online/digital assessment tools and platforms, working with other teams to specify integration for further development.
Collaborating with the Learning Manager, Chief examiner and the Curriculum Lead, review and improve the assessment methodology
Develop and review the competencies for assessments across the Learning Academy
Maintain a team of examiners, markers and moderators.
Implement robust quality assurance measures, reflecting regulatory requirements where appropriate.
Develop and implement all mechanisms to be able to run the exam effectively and to a high standard.
Ensure that assessments are delivered on time and on schedule.
Capture all assessment outcomes on the CRM, updating member records, and ensuring that the correct assessment outcome reaches the member.
Work with partnered tuition providers to ensure that their programmes and assessments reflect those of the company
Prepare regular management information on areas of responsibility.
Report on KPIs, risks, deadlines and targets.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Educated to at least degree level, preferably in Education
Extensive experience in overseeing administrative processes and arranging continuous and end-of-programme assessment, preferably in a distance/ digital/ online learning environment.
Capable of working independently.
Work under pressure and to strict deadlines in a demanding environment.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
Advanced pc skills (predominantly MS Office).
