About the role

Porsche Centre Edinburgh has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Warranty Administrator to join our team.

A successful warranty administrator will have excellent administration skills and the ability to work both independently and within the service team. This role will require a significant amount of attention to detail and organisational skills along with the technical ability to fully understand the operations of a busy service department. Ideally you will have experience either as a warranty administrator or have been an experienced vehicle technician within a franchised dealership.

The successful candidate will be responsible for submitting all warranty claims accurately, ensuring that each claim is processed on time and that payments received match each claim number. You will form a relationship with our manufacturer and also be responsible for internal and external manufacturers audits.

• Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation can be reviewed and audited.
• Reconciles all warranty payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
• Follows up on any outstanding warranty claims.
• Track warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, date and ensure they are stored safely.
• Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or be scrapped.
